DIRECTOR AND HEAD CHEF

EVI BOULIOTA

Evi’s passion and love for the patisserie industry goes a long way. Her family owned a highly reputable patisserie shop in Larissa, Greece, and she got involved in the business at the age of 12. Her family wanted her to learn everything about the business, starting with the basic fundamentals, before she started working in the kitchen and service of their patisserie. Evi began her journey by just packing the dessert boxes, helping her parents and watching how the desserts were made.

Since Evi started showing a lot of love and compassion for the industry, her family decided to train her in making their popular desserts. She fell in love with the art of patisserie and, more importantly, seeing the smiles and happiness her creations evoked. She made a promise to herself, to only produce the most authentic, as well as some of the most creative and fresh desserts which she is still blindly following up to this date.

Her true passion for crafting handmade desserts for others and her success in the industry was recognised by customers and brought a lot of profit to the family business. Her contribution allowed the business to launch a second, and later on a third branch in various locations throughout the city. Evi kept working in the main shop, leading the supply chain for the entire business, ultimately growing her managerial and professional experience to direct all three branches.

In 2014, Evi decided to take her skills, wide knowledge and passion for desserts to the next level and challenge herself further. She moved to Edinburgh with the aim to create her own brand and share all the love and expertise in desserts with the people of Edinburgh.
